Setup

1. To get started, visit https://slack.wrangle.io/integrations/notion.

2. Click the Connect to Notion button to continue. You will be redirected Notion to authorize Wrangle to connect to your Notion account:

   
3. Click Select pages to continue.

4. Select the Teamspaces and/or Shared and Private pages you'd like to use with Wrangle and then click Allow access:

In this example, we're granting access to the HR and IT Teamspaces

When you Allow access to a Teamspace and/or Shared or Private page, Wrangle will automatically process updates to pages within this space. You can change your selected pages at anytime.

1. After clicking Allow access, you will be redirected back to Wrangle, and will see your Notion integration's setup page. Click the Link Inbox button shown below:

1. You will be prompted to select an inbox. In this example, we're going to link this Notion integration to the Ask IT inbox. You can connect Notion to as many inboxes as you'd like. Select your inbox and click the Link Inbox button to confirm:

1. Now your Notion integration is connected to your Ask IT inbox! To see it in action, try enabling AI Ticket Deflection and/or AI Copilotfor your inbox. Both of these AI powered features will now make use of your Notion content.

You may optionally edit the integration name to make it easier for your teammates to find.

We're going to call this IT and HR to match the Notion Teamspaces selected.

Editing a Notion Integration

You can make changes to the name of your integration, as well as update the content that is used within an integration. To update the selected Teamspaces for an existing integration, you will need to reconnect to Notion following these steps:

1. Click the Connect to Notion button

1. When the modal window opens, continue by clicking Connect to Notion.

You will see this when you try to re-connect to Notion

1. Select the Teamspaces and/or Shared and Private pages you'd like to use with Wrangle and then click Allow access. You will see previously added pages already selected. If you de-select them, their content will be removed from Wrangle.

1. Once you click Allow Access, you will be redirected to Wrangle. You will see your newly changed page selections reflected in Wrangle.

FAQ

How do I update my Notion content in Wrangle?

• Wrangle will automatically process updates to pages within Teamspaces that are already shared with Wrangle. Specifically, Wrangle will process:

  • Pages that are added: content will be added to Wrangle.

  • Pages that are removed: content will be removed from Wrangle.

  • Pages that are edited: content will be updated in Wrangle.

Can Wrangle follow links to other Notion pages?

• No. Wrangle will not follow links within your existing Notion pages; we will only process the pages nested within those you have already authorized Wrangle to access.

Who can see the content that I have added to Wrangle?

• Wrangle will display the names of the Notion Teamspaces and page titles that have been added to your account within the Wrangle web app. These page titles and Teamspace names are visible to users within your organization using the Wrangle web app.

• When a ticket deflection message is posted (either via DM for private ticketing or in a channel), the requester will see the summarized contents from your Notion page.

Can I create more than one Notion integration?

• No. This is a Notion limitation. You may choose to either:

  • Ask multiple users within your company to create unique integrations. For example your IT admin might connect your IT inbox to Notion, while your HR admin would connect your HR inbox to the HR Notion Teamspace.

  • Use a single integration that connects to multiple Teamspaces across multiple inboxes. One Wrangle user can connect to both the IT and HR Notion Teamspaces; Wrangle's AI will take care of finding the right content for your users' requests.
